Welcome Fabulous Firstie Families! I am so excited to have you here with me. Together we will do great things! We are going to have so much fun! I teach math, science, and social studies. I went to school in Pickens County growing up. I am very thankful to be teaching in the same county that I grew up in. This is my 24th year in elementary education. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Kennesaw State University. I have a Master of Arts degree and Educational Specialist degree from Piedmont University. I have two boys of my own as seen in the picture. I enjoy watching sunsets at the beach and sitting around a campfire in the mountains. My goal as a teacher is to get to know each of my students individually and to ensure that they trust me and know that I care about each and everyone of them. I feel like building a positive relationship is most important before we can accomplish any academic goals. I want students to always feel welcome and loved in my classroom. Then, we can academically soar like Eagles!
